I made this for FdelOpera as a belated birthday gift and an on-time Christmas gift. (Download for full size)

I think this is probably the coolest thing I've drawn to date (It took me two weeks because I'm a huge slowpoke). I usually don't go all out on backgrounds, but I wanted to challenge myself and work on perspective. I based it on a photo of the Imam Mosque in Isfahan, Iran. I had originally intended for them to be hanging out outside beneath the moonlight, but somehow that didn't happen.

The Daroga is simultaneously facepalming and shielding his eyes from Erik's face. Why Erik has his mask off is anyone's guess. I mostly just wanted to practice drawing his horror of a face. This is meant to depict them when they were both in the Mazandaran Province when they were younger, which is why Erik is rocking a full head of hair.

It was also my first time using Manga Studio 5, which I've learned is a really awesome program. I wish I'd begun using it much earlier! Anyway, Merry Christmas to you all!
